This policy explains how the Memory Matching app handles information. It should be read together with the privacy disclosures shown by Apple, Google, and any consent form presented inside the app.
Information stored on your device
Memory Matching stores game progress locally so that the app can remember your settings and continue your experience. Local information can include:
- Onboarding completion and app settings.
- Sound, haptic, and reduced-animation preferences.
- Coins, unlocked themes and cosmetics, and equipped appearance choices.
- Completed game results, personal bests, statistics, daily progress, and streaks.
- An active game snapshot used to restore an interrupted board.
- Purchase-ownership presentation state and pending recovery or Game Center delivery state.
The app does not require a Memory Matching account. It does not operate a first-party gameplay backend or cloud-save service. Deleting the app or resetting local progress can remove locally stored game information. Local progress does not automatically sync between devices.
Optional Game Center
If you choose to use Apple Game Center and authenticate with Apple, Memory Matching can handle your Apple Game Center player identifier, eligible leaderboard scores, achievement progress, and pending delivery state. These features are optional. Declining or disconnecting Game Center does not block local play.
Apple processes Game Center information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. Only eligible, completed, unassisted Classic and Time Attack results are submitted to competitive leaderboards. Daily, Zen, Custom, Tutorial, failed, assisted, and legacy-unknown results are excluded from competitive score submission.
Purchases
Optional purchases use Apple’s StoreKit and the App Store. Memory Matching checks verified purchase entitlements to provide permanent upgrades and theme packs. Apple processes payment information; the app does not receive or store your full payment-card details.
Advertising and consent
The free version can use Google Mobile Ads and Google’s User Messaging Platform. Depending on your region and the production advertising configuration, these services may process device, advertising, consent, diagnostic, or interaction information as described in Google’s disclosures and the consent choices shown to you.
Gameplay is not conditional on accepting personalised advertising. Where required, the app requests or updates consent information before it initialises advertising. Advertising inventory can fail open: if an ad is unavailable or consent prevents a request, gameplay and navigation continue.
Interstitial ads do not appear during active gameplay. Voluntary rewarded ads clearly describe the reward before you choose whether to watch. The app records limited details about the last presented ad so that you can prepare an inappropriate-ad report.
Tracking permission
The current app does not request Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission and does not include a tracking-usage description. Production advertising settings and any future provider changes must be reviewed before this statement or the App Store privacy labels are updated.
Analytics
The current first-party analytics implementation writes structured events to Apple’s unified logging system on the device. A remote analytics, crash-reporting, attribution, or first-party account service is not implemented in the current version.
Internet access
Ordinary matching gameplay works offline. Internet access is needed for App Store purchase operations, optional Game Center services, consent and advertising services, and links that open external support or policy pages.
Children
Memory Matching is positioned as a general-audience app and is not offered as an Apple Kids Category app. It is not a medical, educational, or child-directed service. A parent or guardian should review device, purchase, Game Center, and advertising settings when a child uses a shared device.
Your choices
- Use the app without creating an in-app account.
- Play locally without Game Center.
- Manage Game Center through Apple’s settings and services.
- Use the in-app advertising privacy controls when the advertising provider makes them available.
- Turn sound, haptics, or animations down through Settings.
- Reset local gameplay progress from Settings. App Store ownership and data already posted to Game Center are not erased by the local reset.
Policy changes
This policy may change when the app, providers, laws, or production configuration changes. The date at the top will be updated when the policy changes.
